Privacy Policy
FORGED ("we", "us") is a daily-discipline app available at weareforged.net and, soon, on iOS and Android. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have. Short version: we collect what the product needs to work, we don't sell it, and you can have it deleted.
01 // What we collect
- Account data — your email address and a hashed password, used to sign you in.
- Profile data — the callsign, goals, and obstacles you enter during onboarding. This is the fuel for your personalized quotes and DRILL's coaching.
- DRILL conversations — messages you exchange with DRILL, our AI accountability companion. Stored so DRILL has context and so your daily quotes can respond to your reports.
- Activity data — quotes you save or respect (like), your streak, and daily usage counts (used for fair-use limits).
- Device data — basic technical information needed to serve the app. We may add privacy-respecting analytics and crash reporting; if we do, this policy will be updated first.
02 // AI processing
DRILL replies and your daily personalized quotes are generated using Anthropic's Claude API. To do that, we send the relevant context — your profile answers and recent DRILL messages — to Anthropic for processing. Per Anthropic's API terms, this data is not used to train their models.
03 // Where your data lives
Data is stored with Supabase (our database and authentication provider) on infrastructure located in the United States, protected by encryption in transit and row-level access controls — your data is readable by your account and by us, nobody else.
04 // What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal data. Ever.
- We do not run third-party advertising.
- We do not use your DRILL conversations for anything except making the product work for you.
05 // Sharing
We share data only with the service providers that run the product (currently: Supabase for storage/auth, Anthropic for AI processing, Cloudflare for hosting/delivery), only as needed to operate it, and where required by law.
06 // Retention & deletion
Your data is kept while your account is active. To delete your account and everything attached to it (profile, quotes, DRILL history, activity), contact us at support@weareforged.net — deletion is permanent and typically completed within 30 days. In-app self-service deletion is coming.
07 // Age
FORGED is not directed at children. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use it.
08 // Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above and note it in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
